Terms of Service

1. Who can use Nheva

Professional accounts are for psychologists aged 18 or over with an active registration at the Regional Council of Psychology (CRP) or the equivalent body of the country where they practice. You confirm that your registration details, including your license number, are true and you keep them up to date.

Clients use the Nheva app and the booking and payment pages at the invitation of the professional who sees them. The practice's country is chosen at sign-up and can't be changed afterwards, because it sets the currency of every amount.

2. Account and security

You are responsible for access to your account and everything done with it, including by members you invite to your practice. Use a strong password, don't share access and tell us at seguranca@nheva.com.br if you suspect misuse.

3. Plans, free trial and subscription

Every plan includes every feature; plans differ only in their limits (active clients, professionals and monthly AI allowance), shown on the plans page. New practices get a 14-day free trial, no card required.

The subscription is monthly, paid by credit card and renewed automatically until cancelled. You pay the price in effect when you subscribe or change plans; price changes don't affect running subscriptions. Plan changes are charged or credited proportionally on the next invoice.

If a renewal can't be charged, access is suspended until payment is settled. Your data stays stored during the suspension.

The early-career discount (50% until your CRP registration turns 1 year old and 25% until it turns 2) requires approval by the Nheva team based on your registration certificate, applies to one practice, one person and one license, is not renewable and may be revoked if the information sent is false.

4. Your responsibilities as a professional

Nheva is a support tool. Technical, ethical and legal responsibility for care, records and clinical decisions always remains yours. In particular, you agree to:

• follow the Psychologist's Code of Professional Ethics and the resolutions of the Federal Council of Psychology, including those on records, online care and advertising;
• obtain the necessary authorizations from clients and tell them you use Nheva for scheduling, records, messages, billing and the client app;
• personally review and sign every progress note: AI-generated text is a draft and doesn't replace your judgment;
• keep the client data you enter accurate and use it only for care and practice management;
• use the connected WhatsApp number according to WhatsApp/Meta terms, without unsolicited bulk messages;
• issue the receipts and tax documents required for the services you provide.

5. Artificial intelligence features

Nheva's AI structures notes, transcribes audio, prepares summaries and briefings and works as an administrative assistant on WhatsApp. Before any text is sent to the AI, the client's name, CPF, phone and e-mail are removed. AI can make mistakes: review everything it produces.

The AI assistant doesn't provide clinical support. Risk detection is automatic and limited: it pauses automatic replies, shares the CVV (188) and SAMU (192) contacts and alerts you, but it doesn't replace an emergency service or your care.

Each plan has a monthly AI allowance. When it runs out, AI features are unavailable until the next month; the rest of the platform keeps working.

6. Client payments

If you charge clients by PIX or card through Nheva, Nheva collects the amounts on your behalf, deducts the fees and pays out the net amount under the Professional Agreement, which is part of these Terms.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use Nheva for illegal or unethical activities, publish misleading content or promises of therapeutic results, try to access other practices' data, bypass technical or plan limits, reverse engineer, overload the systems or resell the platform without authorization. The detailed rules are in the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the platform available and secure, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, add or remove features. Material changes to these Terms will be announced with reasonable notice in the app or by e-mail; continuing to use the platform after they take effect means you accept them.

9. Intellectual property

The platform, brand and materials of Nheva belong to Nheva. Content that you and your clients enter remains yours (or theirs); you authorize us to process it only to provide the service.

10. Cancellation and termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time in Settings › Subscription; access continues until the end of the paid period. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, the law or professional rules.

After termination, clinical records are kept for the minimum period required by the Federal Council of Psychology and can be delivered to you on request; financial records are kept for the period required by tax law. After that, they are deleted or anonymized.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Nheva is not liable for clinical decisions, content entered by users, failures of third-party services (such as payment providers, WhatsApp or internet providers) or indirect damages and lost profits. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

12. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of the district of Nheva's headquarters have jurisdiction, except where the law guarantees the consumer's own forum. Questions: juridico@nheva.com.br.
